Born in St. Louis, MO, and raised in Santa Barbara, Fr. John was ordained in 1990 for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. He has served in a number of parishes and has a doctorate in spiritual formation from the Catholic Univ. of America in Wash, D.C.

Deacon/RCIA
A former Air Force Air Traffic Controller, Deacon Chris and his wife Diane are local to Santa Barbara where they are both involved in local business formation. Deacon Chris is in charge of the RCIA program, and is available for individual spiritual direction with students.

Fr. Chris is a Jesuit from Singapore. He assists St. Mark's by celebrating Mass and hearing confessions. He resides with the local Jesuit community and is a doctoral student at UCSB in religious studies. Fr. Chris speaks Chinese and English. |
Parish Sister/DRE
Sr. Eva is originally from Colombia, S.A. and has served as the parish sister and Director of Religious Education since 2006. She is the contact for all Hispanic ministry. She also works with preparation for Spanish quinceaneras and baptisms.
