EDDIE MURO

My name is Eduardo Alonso Muro, but I have gone by the nickname Eddie for most of my life. I am the middle child of 3 and have an older sister and younger brother. I am 21 grew up in Whittier California, a suburb of Los Angeles. Currently I am a 4th year at UCSB with a major in Religious Studies with an emphasis on the religions of America. Although I love studying religion my main passion is helping people who are less fortunate than I am. As a result of this my passion and dream is to become a medical doctor of some kind in order to help the less fortunate. I have worked in the restaurant and customer service industry since I turned 16 and was legal to work and enjoy every minute of it. I love outdoor adventures and any kind of sports, especially hockey. I enjoy running, fishing, hiking and anything that has to do with the outdoors. I have a variety of pets at home but I currently have two cats that my roommate and I both care for. I love skateboarding and own 12 different types of boards and know almost all the history behind the ones I own. I love cars and have two beautiful mustangs from very different eras. I love history and have one of the best memories I know of. I used to run cross-country and track and ran a marathon when I was 15 years old and run whenever I have the chance. I have been involved with Lifeteen programs and have lead retreats for my former home parish St. Gregory the Great and currently love the SEARCH family at St. Marks and try and help out with anything I can.
