Rental Parking
Rules and Regulations 2010/2011
St. Mark's offers a few spaces for student, faculty and locals. Please read below carefully.
We are conveniently located about two blocks
from UCSB at 6550 PICASSO ROAD at the corner of Picasso and Embarcadero
del Mar in Isla Vista, just two blocks from UCSB. You rent one space for one car with this permit. Please park only in numbered spaces and do not park in space marked "Staff" or in the center section next to rectory. These spaces are reserved for parish visitors, service trucks and staff.
Due to church services, your vehicle must be removed every Saturday & Sunday by 8:00 am. You may return it to your space after 9:00 pm. In
other words, your car may not be on the property on Saturdays between 8am-9pm &
Sundays 8am-9pm or you risk being towed If you suspect that you may sleep in on Sat. or Sun. mornings, then
it is your responsibility to remove car the night prior.
EXCEPTION: Your space WILL NOT
be available for parking on:
*Oct. 30 & 31, 2010 Halloween *Dec. 25, 2010 Christmas Day *Mar.
9, 2011 Ash Wednesday
*And on rare occasions such as a funeral or
special church event.
*You will be notified via e-mail at least 24 hours in advance of
event causing closure of parking lot.
TERMS
$125 per quarter or $350 for three quarters (Fall, Winter & Spring)
You may pay quarter by quarter or save $25
by paying at once for full school year.
Faculty and Local Resident Rate is $400 for entire year.
$25.00 refundable deposit for parking
placard. You must turn in the orange placard to
office by the last day of your lease. If
you lose the placard you must immediately notify the office, and pay $25 for
the replacement of your placard.
We take cash, credit/debit cards and in-state
(CA) checks and money orders payable before each term for parking.
PARKING START AND FINISH DATES:
Full year parking starts Monday, Sept 18th and ends Friday, June
10th
Fall Term Sept 18 – Dec.
11, 2010
Winter Term Jan 3 – March
25, 2011
Spring Term March 28 – June 10, 2011

OTHER RULES AND REGULATIONS
Your space is for one vehicle only. No other vehicle (such as a bicycle, boat or
surfboard) may be left in your parking space. No motor homes or fifth wheels may occupy this space. No storage of illegal or flammable substances in vehicle. No loitering,
drinking, or partying on property. (Please remember we are a Roman
Catholic parish community). DO NOT LOSE
YOUR ORANGE PLACARD! If your placard is
not properly displayed, YOU WILL BE
TOWED even if it is your registered vehicle in that space. Replacement Placard fee is $25.00. If you lose your
second placard, you must re-register your vehicle
and forfeit parking fees for that quarter.
Our parish is not responsible for theft or damage to vehicle. Please do not leave valuable items exposed in
vehicle. Auto must be currently
registered and licensed. |
