Stephany Hernandez

(CO-CHAIR)

My name is Stephany I have been attending St. Mark's since my freshmen year. I became really involved after attending SEARCH X, spring 07. I have been in PPT since Freshman year and this is my second year being the Coordinator. I really enjoy planning events for St. Mark's because I think it is important to be involved in order to get a sense of community from your church. I love St. Mark's.

Louie Reyes

(SACRISTAN)

I have been volunteering at St. Mark's since late 2007. I have been on 5 Search Retreats in which one of those I coordinated. Father Tomas chose me to be the Liturgy Director early 2008 and I've been working with the students and year 'rounders to coordinate Lectors, Eucharistic Minister and Mass Coordinators for the 5pm Saturday Vigil and the 10am Sunday Mass.

Lisa Berry

Hi! My name is Lisa and I've been a part of St. Mark's since I started going to UCSB two years ago. Ever since I went on Search I've wanted to get more involved in this wonderful parish. PPT was my chance to help this parish and also get to know the people my church community. God Rocks!

Mark Aala

I am an intramural flag football and basketball champion. I like long walks on the beach and candle light dinners, mostly for the dinner and not so much the candle light. God loves it when I help out with stuff, so I do it. St. Mark's rules! Love Peace and Chicken Grease.

Maria-Cristina Carrillo

I'm a sophomore at UCSB and I first came to St. Mark's the fall of my freshman year. I've participated in the homeless lunch program. Since then and was part of Search 13. The experience I've had participating and being a Searcher, and the activities at St. Mark's continue to inspire my life here at UCSB. I hope everyone can find a place like this in their life.

Tristen Seagondollar

Being a part of St. Mark's and Search has really helped to center my life. I have participated in Searches, Roman Rush, Children's Liturgy and the Homeless dinner. I am a photographer and love helping the church in any way I can.

Jillian Milliken

Hello! I'm Jillian, I am a junior, Chicana/o studies major, Education minor at UCSB and I am loving it. I went on Search 13 and have been involved with PPT ever since. Besides being involved with St. Mark's I am the Academic Chair of my sorority, Delta Delta Delta. I am so blessed to have found this St. Mark's family. God Bless.

Eugene Del Rosario

I started going to UCSB in September of 2008, that was when I started going to St. Mark's. I first got involved in the church by lectoring because that is what I did at my old parish. Then I went on Search and prayed to be more involved in the church and God gave that to me, actually more than I asked. I love St. Mark's though, so I gladly accept the responsibility.

Alyflor B. Navalta

I'm Aly a second year at UCSB. I came to St. Mark's in 2008; participated in the Search retreat, and from then on loved coming here! I'm involved in Catholic IV, the PPT, Children's Liturgy, Lectoring and being a Eucharistic Minister. It's a very peaceful and welcoming environment that I'm proud to be apart of. It's a Beautiful thing to grow in your faith, and I can honestly say that St. Mark's has greatly contributed in fostering that in me.

Crystal Gutierrez

I am a second year Biology major. I'm from North Hollywood. I have been coming to St. Mark's since last year but only recently have I gotten more involved (after my Search experience). I loved it. The most amazing experience ever.

Madeline Wikander

I am a fourth year environmental science major at UCSB. I am helping with Children's Liturgy and enjoy activities put on by PPT. I hope to see you soon in the pews of St. Mark's.

Vernice Torres

I am a second year Cultural Anthro major at UCSB. I recently joined PPT this year and I am excited to help out with all of the fun activities at St. Mark's.

Thomas Baur

I recently became involved with St. Mark's after going on Search 15. I wanted to keep that feeling I got there so I joined PPT. I am involved with Spaghetti night and the Lenten Hike and hope there is more to come for me.

Amy de Venoge
I'm a freshman at UCSB and am so glad that I found St. Mark's. I'm currently involved in PPT and the Relay for Life team. I also participated in the walks for life in San Francisco. I look forward to helping out St. Mark's for the rest of my time here in Santa Barbara.
